Define Ad Slots

Under your media property, create each ad slot. First pick its category — Display Ads or Sponsored Ads — then its format/template.

Steps​

  1. In the CDXP panel, go to Publisher → Ad slots.
  2. Choose the media property the slot belongs to.
  3. Pick a category: General Ads (the panel's label for Display Ads) or Sponsored Ads.
  4. Pick the format/template and, for Sponsored Ads, one or more Contexts — see the full format reference in Ad Slots & Formats.
  5. Fill in the common fields — name, description, active status — and save.
  6. Note the numeric ad slot ID the panel assigns. You'll pass it as adSlotIds at runtime — or, for a Display Ads slot you want the SDK to render, via the data-bob-id container attribute. (The SDK doesn't render Sponsored Ads slots; those are always requested and rendered by your own code.)
