Define Your Media Property

active
Audience: developerUpdated 2026-07-25

Done once, in the CDXP panel, before you can create ad slots.

A media property is a website, app, or other digital asset you control that can display ads — it's the parent of all your ad slots. A single business usually has more than one, for example a web store, a mobile app, and a blog, each defined as its own media property and enabled or disabled independently.

Steps

  1. In the CDXP panel, go to Publisher → Media properties.
  2. Click New media property.
  3. Fill in the required fields (see below) and save.
  4. Enable the property once you're ready to serve ads on it.

Fields

FieldRequiredDescription
nameYesHuman-readable name of the media property (e.g. Store on Web).
domainYesThe domain the property serves on (e.g. store.example.com).
descriptionYesA short description of the property and where it's used.

Result

The media property is now the container for ad slots. Continue to Define ad slots.
