Define Your Media Property
activeDone once, in the CDXP panel, before you can create ad slots.
A media property is a website, app, or other digital asset you control that can display ads — it's the parent of all your ad slots. A single business usually has more than one, for example a web store, a mobile app, and a blog, each defined as its own media property and enabled or disabled independently.
Steps
- In the CDXP panel, go to Publisher → Media properties.
- Click New media property.
- Fill in the required fields (see below) and save.
- Enable the property once you're ready to serve ads on it.
Fields
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
name | Yes | Human-readable name of the media property (e.g. Store on Web). |
domain | Yes | The domain the property serves on (e.g. store.example.com). |
description | Yes | A short description of the property and where it's used. |
Result
The media property is now the container for ad slots. Continue to Define ad slots.
